Colbert Report’s Best Apple Clips
Like the Colbert Report? Sure you do. Even if you don’t here are some funny bits regarding Apple courtesy of Comedy Central:
This week, Apple is expected to release a tablet computer, probably called the iSlate. Details are scarce, but from what I understand, it will be like a laptop only far less ergonomically optimized for masturbating to porn. Just as Moore’s Law predicted. But who am I to question Steve Jobs, a man who could easily have me bought and sold for twice the price, with a sleeker veneer and revolutionary user-interface. So, in celebration of the new computer I guess we’re all going to buy, here are the best Apple-related bits from The Colbert Report.

We’re all waiting around for the shoe or rather the tablet to drop from Apple later this month. But would you believe Apple was toying with the idea as early as 1987? Back then it was called a Knowledge Navigator.
The device opened like a book, with the “spine” lifting the face to an easy reading angle, and acting as a carrying handle when closed. It also sported a video camera similar to a modern webcam with a slot in the upper right for a memory card, and the grills on either side of the screen are speakers.
